December 20 & 21, 2006 were 2 days to remember! Westside came out in full force (nearly 100 people total) in support of our community. As a member of the team, it was an amazing experience to see the hand & heart of God move in the volunteers who served & to look into the eyes of those being served.
The Channel 7 evening news team suggested 1,200 people attended throughout the 2 hour party period from 6- 8pm. The line started to form outside a little after 5pm. It was a sight to behold!
Words cannot express the thankfulness in our hearts for the willingness of our people, in the midst of the busiest season of the year, to use their gifts to bless others. Many seeds were planted on Thursday night and our mission was accomplished by expressing His love through service!
